Shahran

Shahran graduated from MAIWP International University with a degree in Environmental Occupational Safety and Health. He began his career in Baker Hughes, a leading global energy technology company and one of the world’s largest oilfield services providers, where he served as an intern. During his tenure, he gained valuable exposure to Indoor Air Quality and Industrial Hygiene, and developed strong working relationships with relevant government and regulatory bodies in these areas.In 2022, he joined Soma Tech Sdn. Bhd. as Chief Operations Officer, where he has been instrumental in driving operational strategy and business development initiatives. He possesses experience in sustainability reporting and ESG data management, supporting organisations in strengthening their environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and disclosures. Currently, he serves as Executive Director of the Group and is responsible for overseeing strategic planning, operational management, and the development of sustainability and ESG-focused solutions. He brings with him a growing track record in environmental management, with particular strengths in Indoor Air Quality, Industrial Hygiene, and stakeholder engagement across both private and public sectors.
